👋 Hi, I’m Emma! I’m someone who loves a good challenge, whether it’s building a brand from scratch, creating campaigns that connect with millions, or learning something completely new. At my core, I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to make meaningful connections with people.
✈️ A little about my journey:
During the pandemic, I started Threads Earrings with my Dad at our dining room table. What began as a creative outlet turned into a thriving small business with over 3,000 sales and some truly heartwarming customer stories. I’ll never forget the hours spent learning the ins and outs of e-commerce, packing orders, and collaborating on designs. That experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and how much I love bringing ideas to life.
Now, I’m the Manager of Special Projects at Memrise, a London-based language learning app, where I get to help millions of people learn languages through thoughtful campaigns and exciting partnerships. Some of my favorite projects include:

Leading a collaboration with DreamWorks Puss in Boots: The Last Wish that reached over 14 million people (and made me feel like a kid again watching their movies!).

Crafting personalized CRM campaigns in 30+ languages that helped us connect with users all over the world.

Talking directly to our users to better understand how to make our product even better for them.
🌍 Why I love what I do:
I’ve always been inspired by connection—whether it’s creating something that resonates with a customer, collaborating with a team, or learning from people who see the world differently than I do. My grandma, “Cito,” taught me that. She was a storyteller, a traveler, and the kind of person who made everyone feel seen. Her adventurous spirit reminds me to stay curious and embrace every opportunity life throws my way.

I fell in love with London while studying abroad, and now it’s my second home.

My background includes everything from working behind the scenes on CSI: Las Vegas to exploring influencer marketing at The Shark Group as the Shark Tank Special Brands and Partnership Intern.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me exploring a new city, journaling, or listening to podcasts about tech companies. My favorite is Acquired—if you’re anything like me, you might eventually dive into the six-hour episode on Meta. Otherwise, I’d recommend starting with something a bit shorter, like the episode featuring Spotify CEO Daniel Ek.
